Personally, I am not a big pet person. Not because I do not like animals, but because I do not have the time to really put into taking care of a pet. Having a pet is a big responsibility that I can not take on right now.

My other recommendation is The Furry Godmother, petsitting services. When you have to go out of town and must leave your pet at home, it is really an act of love to let your pet stay in his familiar surroundings rather than have him put in a boarding house.
